Very steep climb today but I made it! Absolutely stunning countryside... Tomorrow we climb over the peak and back into Spain...another difficult stage especially on the descent. As I walked I met a lady from New Zealand and a young couple from Israel. The pilgrims are truly from all over the world.
They say the Camino is a metaphor for life and as I struggled to endure the difficult climb today, I thought of all the trials that we are faced with in life and the beauty that is surrounding us still. If we focus only on the pain, we cannot see the joy...it is our choice .
