Overcast and cool (YAY!) walk through arid hills of olive groves and grape vines, beginning to be harvested. As we approached town, a huge flock of sheep being herded planted themselves in the middle of the road. The recent forest fires in Spain made their way right up to the vineyards, but the grapes were still ripe.
Tonight we are staying in a spacious apartment in a town that, although it has modern accommodations, is surrounded by an ancient wall.
All the beautiful sights along the path are wonderful, but the Camino is so much more. People joined together with a common goal, despite different reasons for being here. Our group is equally divided as far as spiritual and physical inspiration.

It makes my heart happy to get a glimpse of your amazing journey. I am so proud of you! XO
